d%20her.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EI%20didn%E2%80%99t%20sleep%20with%20her%20because%20%28and%20I%20know%20this%20might%20sound%20crazy%20enough%20to%20lock%20me%20up%2C%20throw%20away%20the%20keys%2C%20and%20smash%20my%20computer%20to%20a%20thousand%20pieces%20so%20I%20can%20never%20write%20another%20blog%20again%29%20I%20liked%20her%3B%20I%20cared%20about%20her.%C2%A0And%20some%20part%20of%20me%20knew%20if%20we%20had%20any%20sort%20of%20physical%20exchange%20everything%20would%20be%20ruined.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EDid%20she%20see%20it%20this%20way%3F%20She%20offered%20herself%20to%20me%2C%20wanting%20to%20feel%20loved%2C%20and%20I%20turned%20her%20down.%20Not%20because%20I%C2%A0%3Cem%3Edidn%E2%80%99t%3C%2Fem%3E%C2%A0want%20to%20sleep%20with%20her%E2%80%94the%20next%20day%20I%20felt%20as%20though%20someone%20handed%20me%20a%20gun%20and%20I%20slammed%20a%20bullet%20right%20through%20my%20own%20foot%E2%80%94but%20because%20I%20truly%20cared%20for%20her.%C2%A0I%20could%20tell%20she%20was%20desperately%20seeking%20something%E2%80%94we%20both%20were%E2%80%94and%20she%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20going%20to%20find%20it%20in%20me.%C2%A0Was%20she%20crushed%3F%20She%20deleted%20my%20number%20from%20her%20phone.%C2%A0I%20sent%20her%20letters%2C%20she%20mailed%20me%20piles%20of%20ash.%C2%A0She%20avoided%20me%20at%20work%2C%20and%20blatantly%20draped%20herself%20over%20other%20men.%C2%A0%20We%20never%20saw%20each%20other%20again.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EHeartbreaking.%C2%A0Sure.%C2%A0But%20not%20because%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20get%20the%20girl.%C2%A0We%20all%20lose%20the%20girl%20at%20some%20point.%C2%A0What%20does%20this%20say%20about%20the%20human%20race%2C%20though%3F%20Someone%20you%20barely%20know%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20connect%20with%20you%20physically%2C%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20take%20you%20to%20bed%2C%20refuses%20to%20be%20naked%20in%20front%20of%20you%2C%20and%20you%20feel%20rejected%2C%20unattractive%2C%20unloved.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3E%3Cem%3EThat%E2%80%99s%3C%2Fem%3E%C2%A0heartbreaking.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EYou%E2%80%99re%20so%20much%20more%20than%20that.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20why%20sex%20is%20so%20dangerous%2C%20powerful%2C%20and%20addictive.%C2%A0It%20provides%20us%20the%20opportunity%20to%20see%20a%20world%20where%20everything%20is%20perfect%20for%20a%20few%20fleeting%20moments%2C%20but%20when%20the%20moments%20pass%20we%20realize%20we%E2%80%99ve%20seen%20a%20world%20we%20can%20never%20create%20on%20our%20own.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3ESo%20we%20give%20ourselves%20away%20again%20and%20again%20hoping%20to%20start%20new%2C%20to%20find%20redemption%2C%20to%20wash%20away%20the%20past%2C%20seeking%20a%20perfection%20that%20only%20lasts%20a%20moment.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3ESex%20was%20given%20to%20us%20as%20a%20harmless%20gift%20in%20the%20beginning.%C2%A0A%20gift%20meant%20to%20be%20shared%20between%20two%20people%20for%20the%20rest%20of%20their%20lives%20as%20the%20ultimate%20expression%20of%20love.%C2%A0The%20weapon%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20loaded%20when%20God%20handed%20us%20the%20gun.%C2%A0%20We%20just%20had%20the%20bullets%20in%20our%20pockets%20all%20along.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EWe%20are%20the%20ones%20who%20put%20the%20round%20in%20the%20chamber.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EWhen%20we%20aren%E2%80%99t%20at%20peace%2C%20when%20we%20aren%E2%80%99t%20content%2C%20we%E2%80%99re%20triggered.%C2%A0We%E2%80%99re%20turned%20on.%C2%A0We%E2%80%99re%20seeking%20with%20skilled%20excellence%20to%20find%20that%20contentment%2C%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20easier%20to%20find%20it%20in%20that%20woman%20eyeing%20you%20from%20across%20the%20bar%2C%20the%20boy%20offering%20you%20a%20drink%20at%20the%20party.%C2%A0But%20how%20will%20you%20feel%20in%20the%20morning%3F%20You%E2%80%99ll%20still%20be%20searching.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3ECan%20you%20imagine%20living%20in%20that%20constant%20state%20of%20contentment%3F%C2%A0Forever%20being%20okay%20with%20what%20you%20have.%20We%20have%20so%20much%20around%20us%2C%20so%20much%20to%20provide%20us%20joy%2C%20but%20for%20some%20reason%20we%E2%80%99re%20always%20fixated%20on%20what%20we%20don%E2%80%99t%20have.%C2%A0We%E2%80%99ll%20never%20be%20content%20this%20way.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EWhether%20you%E2%80%99re%20a%20Christian%20or%20not%2C%20it%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20matter.%C2%A0You%20still%20live%20in%20a%20world%20where%20you%20are%20free%20to%20do%20everything.%C2%A0But%20this%20does%20not%20mean%20that%20everything%20should%20be%20done.%C2%A0%20Freedom%20is%20seen%20as%20being%20able%20to%20do%20whatever%20we%20want%2C%20whenever%20we%E2%80%99d%20like.%C2%A0But%20this%20is%20a%20terrible%20lie.%C2%A0That%20isn%E2%80%99t%20freedom%20at%20all.%C2%A0Freedom%20is%20being%20able%20to%20have%20whatever%20you%20want%20and%20getting%20along%20just%20fine%20without%20it.%3C%2Fp%3E%0A%3Cp%3EYou%20also%20have%20the%20freedom%20to%20choose.%C2%A0And%20many%20of%20you%20may%20have%20chosen%20to%20believe%20Christians%20can%20be%20judgmental%2C%20hypocritical%2C%20condemning%2C%20and%20fake.%C2%A0%20Nobody%E2%80%99s%20perfect.%C2%A0In%20fact%2C%20as%20a%20Christia
